Γαλλία 2013 (Επέλεξε τραγούδι)

Στο 3.11 τραγουδάει ζωντανά.

Το live της μου άρεσε! Τώρα που το άκουσα δεύτερη φορά και όχι ηχογραφημένο, ανέβηκε στην εκτίμησή μου. Αν μη τι άλλο, είναι κάτι διαφορετικό. Το τέλος του κομματιού ωστόσο εξακολουθεί να μου ακούγεται ενοχλητικό....

Κι εμένα άρχισε να μου αρέσει αν και εξακολουθώ να πιστεύω ότι του λείπει κάτι και δεν απογειώνεται.
Επίσης μου αρέσει πολύ η φωνή της.

Όσο ανεβαίνει στην εκτίμηση μου η Γαλλία άλλο τόσο πέφτει το ΗΒ.

What was you first reaction when you were proposed Eurovision ?
I said "WTF ! What's that ?!" And my manager told me "Don't overreact.
You don't know the concept, the contest and you don't know what you're
talking about. Get to know it and we'll see'. Then I called my friends
and we had a Eurovision evening, and we watched the videos from 1957 to
nowadays. And we had a lot of fun ! It was awesome. We had a lot of
delight not only to laugh at but also to have creeps sometimes. And then
you realize : Gosh it's great. Fortunately, there are things like that !
It's like football, it brings people close together. And as a singer,
it's a prestigious contest, which brings European countries closer, and I
told to myself I would be nuts not to want to take part in it. It's 65
millions of watchers, I think. It's huge. When you're a singer or an
artist, I think everybody dreams to be seen by so many people.

After having watched what it is, do you think that Eurovision is tackier than what you thought ?
No, it's less tacky ! You know what I saw ? A Finnish metal band that
won in 2006 ! It's a real band, with masks, etc... Huge. There is
Sébastien Tellier, who represented France, and I loved it, it gave a
posh side... It was great. There was France Gall, Céline Dion... Many
artists still there, who made great carriers who took part in
Eurovision.

You said you were surprised to be proposed Eurovision. You understand
that it could surprise the audience ? There were criticism. Because you
weren't expected there.
Yes. I don't find I'm unexpected in what I propose. Then, when the
commity chose my song, I was surprised like you. I told to myself "Well,
strange they choose a song like mine" because I thought Eurovision was a
style, and eventually, when you think about it, there is no style in
Eurovision. Let's talk about that Finnish rock metal band. Who thought
that thing would win ? No one. it's not designed for Eurovision. It goes
all over the place.

How do you feel, a month before the contest ?
I feel happy to live this bloody adventure. It's a huge thing, and I
believe I still don't realize how huge it is. I play the brave girl, but
I begin to not manage to sleep well, to feel stress and it's normal. I
will try to turn the stress in positivity and energy, to give the best
of me.

How do you prepare ? Do you rehearse a lot ?
No, I try in maximum to change my thoughts, to be with the people I
love, my family, my friends, to move on, to go to concerts. If I stay
alone in my home to think about it, it will be worse. I need to live my
life. I need to tell me it's nothing, that I have to take pleasure. It's
having pleasure that I will give back to people the pleasure I have.

Are you aware of the geopolitical voting ?
Yes, I expect it. But I don't want to be interested in that. It's not my
role. I'm a singer, I take part in a singing contest. I go there to
win, and I don't ask myself political questions.

Because Anggun...
Have you liked Anggun's performance ? It's all I ask ! If you like
Anggun's performance, OK... It's what interests me. I want to make a
good performance, I want to have a good rank. I would be really pissed
off to end last...

Do you know who was in the selections to represent France ?
I believe there was Philippe Katerine, The Twin-Twin, Lily Wood and the
Prick. But you have to ask confirmation to France Télévision.

Did you watch what the other contestants are proposing ?
Yes ! Bonnie Tyler for the UK, classy ! Only for it, I'm very happy to
take part. I would like to make a duet with her. There is also Cascada,
it's not my cup of tea, but it's a great singer, with a great voice. I
find it stimulating. It's great to be in front of singers you admire and
great voices. There is also a singer I love, Anouk, who represents the
Netherlands. it's a singer I used to listen, I inspired of her to learn
how to sing. If I meet her, I will be very excited !

On stage, you said it will be very sober, that there will be only backing vocals...
There is no money ! Then, even in "Idols", my performances were always
turned to interpretation. I can't make a choreography, the musical genre
isn't me.

Have you been asked to add English words to seduce the most of people ?
At first, the song was in English, but it was refused. We could have
make with both languages... I don't like it. There is songs where it
works. For Eurovision, I like the fact everyone sings in its language.
Now everyone sings in English... What is interesting is to make discover
your country, your culture, your language. Italian, for instance, is
beautiful. It's art. It's like a painting. If we start all singing in
English, we loose something. Eurovision is about representing your
country, its culture, its art and its language. I like the song in
English but Boris Bergman made hell lyrics !

Do you read criticism in medias ? Do you take care of criticism ?
If a guy think Eurovision is bull crap, it's his choice. As for me,
before it wasn't my cup of tea but I never told to myself it's crap. I
wasn't interested in it, I wasn't in it. I didn't know it in fact. If I
thought it's crappy, I wouldn't enter it.
