Πρόβες!

Δεν ήξερα ότι αρχίζουν οι πρόβες σήμερα  !! 
Τα δικά μας τα παιδιά πότε αναχωρούν???

Καλε βοηθεια ουτε και εγω το ηξερα  .Νωρις δεν ειναι η κανω λαθος; 

Κορίτσια την άλλη Τρίτη είναι ο πρώτος ημιτελικός... Εμείς προβάρουμε Τετάρτη απογευματάκι!

Axel certainly looks the part this afternoon! Despite this being the first rehearsal, when most artists dress very casually, he is wearing the full tuxedo outfit we have become used to seeing. He is once again accompanied on-stage by the empassioned dancer. The first run-through was very competent vocally, though it felt that at times Axel was trying a little too hard to display his full vocal range. The two performers seem to be swallowed-up a little on the large stage, though the sweeping camera shots do try to minimise this.

Μακάρι στο σνίπετ να είχαν το κομμάτι της κορύφωσης: Ωστόσο φαίνεται δυναμικό και ατμοσφαιρικό όπως στο επίσημο βίντεο κλιπ. Δεδομένος νικητής του διαγωνισμού για εμένα φέτος. Πάρα πολύ μεγάλο συν το οτι επικεντρώνεται στην ατμόσφαιρα και δεν προσθέτει διάφορα κουραφέξαλα πάνω στην σκηνή για να καλύψει την μουσική ένδεια του, όπως κάνουν σχεδόν ΟΛΕΣ οι υπόλοιπες χώρες του ημιτελικού του μέχρι στιγμής.

Συμπαθητικό το background, και η ατμόσφαιρα γενικότερα, αλλά ότι και να κάνουν δεν το σώζουν. Στα μεγάλα πλην ο ίμο με την κονσέρβα που κάνει γράτσα γρούτσα και η κακόγουστη χοντρή... Υποψήφιο κομμάτι για Barbara Dex award!

Σε αντίθεση με διάφορα σχόλια φαν στο νετ μου άρεσε και το background και πως χειρίζεται την φωνή της ενώ χορεύει. Καλό και το outfit που συμπεραίνω πως θα είναι και το τελικό. Σίγουρα προκρίνεται.... Στην επιτροπή μάλιστα, ίσως πάει καλύτερα από το τελεβοουτ.

Ευχάριστη και διασκεδαστική σκηνική παρουσία, τόσο πολύχρωμο και τόσο διαφορετικό που ίσως ξεχωρίσει. Dark Horse στον ημιτελικό, θυμηθείτε το. Μην εκπλαγείτε μάλιστα αν χτυπήσει 5άδα επιτροπών και το περάσουν εκείνες τελικό, αντί για το τελεβοουτ. Αν περάσει βέβαια, bottom5 στον τελικό...

Borderline Non-Qualifier (10th-12th)
Final: 20th-24th



Ουφ... Φωνή πολύ καλή, αλλά ρε κοπελιά δεν πας πουθενά με το σύνολο. Και μου'βαλες και το τρίπατο βάθρο για να αναδείξεις τι ακριβώς, ατα δίμετρα πόδια σου, ή την αγγελική σου πρόσοψη?

Κλασσικός Φωκάς.... και λίγο από Cirque Du Soleil. Όπως και η Ντιλάρα. Δυνατές φωνητικά οι κοπελίτσες, το σύνολο θα δένει, είμαι βέβαιος. Ο Φωκάς άλλωστε ποτέ δεν έκανε fail στον διαγωνισμό. Πολύ πιθανόν και φέτος, όπως και πέρσι η Ρωσσία να μην υποστηριχθεί τόσο από τις φιλενάδες της όσο από άλλες, άσχετες χώρες...

Ας βάλουμε και λίγο από τσίρκο για να "εντυπωσιάσουμε" κρατώντας ξύπνιο το κοινό από την υπνηλία. Μετριότατη φωνητικά, τεράστιο, γιγάντιο deja vu Τουρκίας 2010/2011 (συνταγή που "πετύχαινε" στο παρελθον, επαναλαμβανόμενη με κάκιστο τρόπο, βάλαμε και μια ακροβάτισσα να τσιμπήσει ψήφους, χοπ ο αποκλεισμός) Ω ναι. Ότι και να λένε οι χαζοφαν για 5άδες Αζερμπαϊτζάν και φέτος (Θεέ μου) νομίζω οτι οι Αζέροι φλερτάρουν με το μεγαλύτερο fail τους.

Οκ, κλασσικά πράγματα εδώ. Μου θύμισε κάτι απο Σβετλάνα Λομποντά, κακό για την ίδια της. Θα πάει πολύ καλά στο τελεβοουτ, αλλά νομίζω οτι μια τέτοια εμφάνιση θα της στερήσει την ψήφο επιτροπής που θα είχε με μια πιθανή εμφάνιση όπως στο βίντεο κλιπ της. Πάει το αβανταζ που κέρδισες με το Σουηδο-ρεκτιφιε του κομματιού σου Μαρίγια μου!

Χάνει έχω την αίσθηση από την ατμόσφαιρα του τελικού του. Και γι'αυτό "φταίει" η μεγάλη σκηνή και το φόντο - δεν θα έπρεπε να βάλει φόντο με σχέδια, κατά την γνώμη μου. Το δε θέαμα του λιπαρού μπουλούκου που φωνάζει για να πείσει για τις οκτάβες του, δεν ξέρω εν τέλει σε ποιό βαθμό θα συγκινήσει τον κόσμο. Να πω πως προβλέπω να μην τα πηγαίνει και τόσο καλά στις επιτροπές, επίσης...

Nαι ! Αλλά θα τα ξαναγράψω Τετάρτη όταν θα έχω μια -μικρή- έστω εικόνα,
από τις πρώτες πρόβες και των δύο ημιτελικών !

Cristina was accompanied by four male dancers in black costumes with long top in order to look like the warriors. Even their movements had some elements of Samurai fighting. Together with Cristina they showed an thrilling dance that suited the Moldovan entry perfectly. Cristina wore her luisure cloths - she still wants to keep her intriguing dress in secret.

In the beginning, the dark and deep forest was shown on the LEDs - the wild and strong part of the song. And then the beautiful red flower appeared on the LEDs - the symbol of beauty, sensitivity and feminism. There were some technical problems with the LEDs in the one of the last runs.

Cristina appears on a very darkly-lit stage, with a backdrop of what seems to depict a forest at night, with lots of twisted branches and undergrowth. Her four dancers flank her, with one initially rising-up horizontally behind her and making movements that match the branches of the backdrop. There has definitely been a re-working of the orchestration for this song; there are far more strings present throughut, which definitely adds to the dramatic feel of the performance. Cristina herself remains quite static throughout, as her dancers gyrate enthusiastically around her. The backdrop does brighten-up a little from the middle of the song onwards, with shades of pink and blue appearing behind the performers. Vocals are consistently strong, and there are some quite 'punchy' camera shots going-on - but the whole thing feels just a little too dark right now, (not helped by the fact that, this morning, everyone on-stage is wearing black!)

Valentina begins her rehearsal this morning stood atop a glittery podium, with a fabric 'shell' behind her, floodlit in shades of blue. She herself is wearing a strapless white gown. We are assuming the concept is that Valentina is the 'pearl' in the 'shell' of which she sings! It all seems a little naive, which is both strangely appealing and a little disapponting at the same time. While there don't seem to be any problems with the vocals, Valentina looks a little uncomfortable rooted to the spot and gesticulating wildly, almost over-compensating for her apparent inability to move otherwise! There was a good round of applause here in the Press Centre following the rehearsal, though - Valentina has certainly amassed a lot of fans over the years!

A delightfully bright and bouncy rehearsal from Suzy today! She is joined on-stage by two drummers, positioned either side of Suzy and her three backing dancers/vocalists. The drummers quickly abandon their instruments and join in with the dancing, followed by some large flag-waving. This is all as energetic and enthusiastic as might be expected, but there are some serious issues with the sound levels which appear to be affecting Suzy's vocals. No doubt these will all be cleared-up for the second run-through. The staging has no real relevance - it's basically just there to fill the space, and it feels a little distracting at times - but this does go down well here in the Press Centre!

Back from lunch, with the Common Linnets. Ilse and Waylon share a 'common' microphone stand, which splits into two, providing a microphone for each of the performers. The duo are joined on-stage by a cellist, a drummer and a guitar-player. Cameras linger above the pair at the beginning of the rehearsal, as a lighting effect recreates a moving road between the two. Focus then moves very much onto the singers, who appear to look very 'intense' - there is a lot of straight-to-camera staring and at eachother! The backdrop is again very dark and moody, as is the LED floor - something of a surprise for this kind of song. There are no sweeping stage-shots at all - it's all very much about what is happening on-stage. These two very consummate performers are clearly comfortable on-stage however.

Sergej stands alone on an otherwise bare stage for this rehearsal. His backdrop seems to represent mountails and a series of waterfalls. Shortly after he begins singing, he is joined by his ice skater, who approaches from the catwalk. She moves very freely around the stage, making good use of the whole space. Sergej is joined by three backing vocalists, who stand stage left. At one point, the camera lingers above the stage and the foot movements of the ice skater are 'tracked' in white light against an otherwise purple and blue LED floor - a nice little touch. Sergej's vocalists flank him towards the end of the performance. This has impressed quite a few people here in the Press Centre.

András starts his rehearsal on the main stage, dressed very casually today in what looks like a gym kit! He is sat on a stool, and is joined by a female pianist. At the appropriate moment, he runs down the catwalk. On his return, the pianist transforms into a dancer who engages in a dramatic, dynamic routine with a male colleague while András sings. It's all quite powerful and empassioned.

Firelight are joined on-stage by some rather-randomly strewn old boxes and packing crates. As might be expected, this looks very warm and inviting, with a backdrop featuring fields and flowers. This performance is the first that makes use of the back of the LED screens attached to the metal 'box' framework; at one point, the camera comes from behind and we can see photos which feature the smiling faces of the group members within the boxes. While most of the camera-work is focused on the group, there is the occasional sweeping stage and overhead shot, which again emphasises just how expansive the stage really is.

Everything is very black and white for the beginning of Mei Feingold's rehearsal. She stands at the 'peak' of the floor diamond, against a latticework pattern. Very quickly, she is joined by two female dancers, dressed in tight black basque-style outfits, who join her from the two catwalks. The three girls then perform some of the routine we have become familiar with from the promotional photo. The 'strut' downstage seems to go down well in here! Again, it seems like there might have been some issues with the sound levels as Mei's vocals aren't coming through clearly, despite the fact that she is clearly giving it a lot of power!

At the bridge in the song, Mei and her two dancers lie flat on the floor, while the camera pans up her body to her face. The general feeling in the Press Centre is that this would look more impressive visually if shot from above, especially against the huge stage.

The Norwegian rehearsal opens with a camera shot focusing on a male pianist, before panning across to Carl, who is stood in a pool of smoke which rolls across the entire stage. Four female violinists stand on a raked platform, (which looks very much like Hersi's podium from yesterday, turned round at a different angle!) Apart from one short glimpse of the musicians, the camerawork focuses heavily on Carl, who appears very intense! Everyone was very quiet in the Press Centre during this performance, and it recieved a healthy and encouraging round of applause at the end.
